About the Author Cindy Elsharouni has been drawing since the age of three. She has developed into a professional fine artist and has held multiple exhibit- ions internationally. Her main subject matter almost always incorpor- ates animals or humans, particularly faces of people of different back- grounds and walks of life different from her own. She loves to create artwork that has significant meaning and that speaks a message to the viewer. She has put together this book as an endeavor to allow others who don't like to label themselves as artists, to take part in an artistic process. She believes everyone is an artist. Everyone can create in a form of expression. She will continue to find ways to help others to discover their abilities and talents. Cindy is married to an amazing professional fine artist, Tamer Elsharouni who has also held multiple exhibitions. Bit of a disappointment when it arrived. A small book, only 8x8". Many of the horse illustrations are repetitions in her other books. Nice assortment of animals such as giraffes, lions, birds, sea creatures but I anticipate some problems coloring due to small size of many details and design. Especially don't like horses shown with bridles and bits as this is supposed to be 'wild' creations! Have 6 of Cindy's books, 3 horses, 1 dog & 1 cat. This needs to be re-issued in full size as the others are.
