Review I just got into adultcoloring books to help me relax after going through two major surgeries. I'm really glad these are not tiny and are very easy to color making it relaxing not frustrating. The animal creations in this adult coloringbook are fun and whimsical and a joy to be a part of . Anyone lookingfora fun relaxing adult coloring experience in any art medium fromcrayons to colored pencils to paints or markers will truly enjoy doingso in this book. What's especially nice is that while you're doing thecoloring you can tear it away out of the book for easier coloringwithout ripping the page. The book is designed to allow you to take each page out carefully, color it as you want , making it unique and thenbeing able to frame it for gift giving or in your own homeGreat Coloring book especially for people who love animals and love realartwork. It has a lot of patterns but the animals are not cartoonish.They are drawn with a sense of realism but with a decorative quality.The backside is blank. Each page is 8.5 in x 11in.The designs are quite intricate though there are some simple designs to balance them out. I like to use my Tombow water-based markers onthis type of area to let the already done shading work with the color Ihave chosen. This type of coloring reminds me when "colorizing" blackand white photos was popular a number of years ago. It is very much asimilar concept. I love Dogs and coloring so this book was a perfect fit for me. The book is paperback and size is 8 1/2" x 11" so it's the size of a normal sheet of paper. The thickness of the pages is like a normal sheet of computer paper. The pages are not perforated so if you want to remove any, you will just need to tear them out carefully. There are 40 designs to color is this book so this is a bit thicker and larger than some I own. Another thing I really liked with this book that many books don't have is on the first few pages, there is a smaller image of each larger image that is in the book. You could color them too if you want but they are small.In my video, I show you all 40 designs you get in this book so you can make your decision if this will be a book you will like. Most of the time, you don't get to see every design in the book to know if you will like it and then sometimes end up being disappointed so I like to try and do this for people. I personally am very pleased with the book and like it. I think the designs are done well and there is a nice variety and amount to color on the pages. I love the designs on the dogs as well as the patterns around them.If you are going to use gel pens or markers to color, I recommend placing a sheet of poster board/cardstock in between the pages or even just a few extra sheets of paper so they don't run through. If using colored pencils, you won't need to worry about it.
